I reviewed the e.l.f. Mineral Eyeshadow Primer, and I mentioned that I was testing 2 eyeshadow primers so, here is the 2nd one – UDPP! I don’t actually have the full size UDPP, but I did receive a sample of it (didn’t even know that there is sample of that!) from dear Marina at Makeup4All when I participated in her giveaway. 🙂
I know there are 3 available shades, and I have the original, nudeone. I can’t talk about the packaging because I don’t have it, but I know many aren’t satisfied with it, and looking at the picture, I think I wouldn’t be either (too much product is left inside and you’re not able to get it out, to use all of it as you should so you have to cut it). The texture of this primer is a creamy, soft and feels silky on skin. It is quite different than the e.l.f. Mineral Eyeshadow Primer, but the feeling is the same when applied. It takes also a small amount to apply it all over the lids, so I think that the full size does last for a long time. The most important thing about it is that it really holds your eyeshadow for *hours*. Remember my makeup for the wedding I attended on Friday? Well, I had this primer than and I can say that it is excellent since my eye makeup lasted for 15 hours (!!!)! Yeah, you read it right – 15 hours! I couldn’t believe it myself, to be honest. 😀 And of course I was dancing, having fun, sweating, etc. but the makeup was there all day and night long until I took it off. Eyeshadows are applied perfectly on it, they blend easily and everything that goes with that. 🙂
The regular price of it is $18.00 and the full size holds 10 ml (0.34 fl. oz). I don’t think it’s expensive but I do think they should consider another packaging, a tube or something like that instead of this “bottle”. Also, if you’re looking something cheaper, consider getting the e.l.f. Mineral Eyeshadow Primer instead because they work exactly the same.
